It is an important topic because of the changes that the U.S. administration announced in past few years. Additionally, worth to consider, because the events in Ukraine can produce a new approach to this issue. The author tries to answer, among others, the following questions: – How the U.S. Military involvement looks like in Europe at the beginning of the fi rst decade of the twenty-first century? – What are and were the U.S. administration’s plans for the military presence in Europe and in the world? – What impact on the decisions of the United States has the situation in Ukraine ?
