Thus as a rule it can be found in many legislatives acts including the most important one — the Constitution of Republic of Poland. Bearing in mind the essential purpose of criminal procedure, which is to determine the guilt, courts must abide by the right to fair trial, to minimise the potential risk related to miscarriages of justice. Unlike in the United States, where miscarriages of justice are examined by Innocent Commissions, the subject remains still largely unknown and unresearched in Poland.Pozycja Studia Prawnicze: rozprawy i materiały nr 1, 2013(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2013) Łazarski, Krzysztof; Hanev, Dimitar; Widacki, Jan; Radwaniak, Krzysztof; Kusion, Mariusz; Milenković-Kerković, Tamara; Waniek, Danuta; Krużołek, Klaudia; Klimek, Paweł; Sala-Szczypiński, Marcin; Kubiak-Cyrul, Agnieszka; Węgrzynowicz-Cichońska, Justyna; Huszcza, Martyna; Widacki, JanPozycja Studia Prawnicze: rozprawy i materiały nr 2, 2013(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2013) Bochenek, Artur; Kościelniak, Grzegorz; Poździoch, Stefan; Ibek, Anna; Kolaszyński, Mateusz; Widacki, Jan; Staszel, Renata; Damasiewicz, Agnieszka; Huszcza, Martyna; Sala-Szczypiński, Marcin; Bałos, Iga; Koczur, Sebastian; Wojtarowicz, Małgorzata; Szuba-Boroń, Anna; Widacki, Jan; Maciąg, ZbigniewPozycja Wykrywanie kłamstwa przez nauczycieli(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2012) Wrońska, Małgorzata; Huszcza, MartynaThe article presents studies in the diagnostic quality of teachers’ assessment of behavioural and verbal premises of deception chosen from literature. Participating in the studies were 100 teachers specialising in early education, whose main task was to assess the frequency of specific symptoms of deception. Later, a study whether the respondents believe that personality can have an influence on the symptoms of deception exhibited was conducted. If the respondents provided a positive answer to the question, they were asked to match individual symptoms to specific personality types. The results of the studies were compared to the results of other studies conducted among police officers. Representatives of both the professions were treated as competent judges, as in their daily work they deal with deception, and the respondents themselves believe that they are a very good in recognising deception.
