It is one of the reasons why it is an important object of research. Although there have been many changes in the functioning of families – some of them worrying – and even though a family encounters a lot of obstacles relating to children’s upbringing, a family remains a fundamental and the most important social group. Spending time together by family members has a special place in forming a family community. Leisure time is indispensable for a proper functioning of an individual in their social environment. Children need help mostly from their parents to be able to use their free time well. This is why one of the most important roles a family has to play is to teach free time management. New, changing living conditions of a family raise a number of questions. This thesis includes a report of research relating to participation of professionally active parents in organizing their children’s free time and provides answers to these questions: What are the current forms of spending free time by children and adolescents?, and Do members of families spend their time together and how? This research was conducted in Wadowice district.Pozycja Dobra rodzina jako wspólnota miłości, zaufania i odpowiedzialności(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2009) Kuźma, JózefPozycja Dokąd idziesz, ojcze? Drinking alcohol is a commonly accepted element of cultural rituals associated with important life situations. Alcohol (changing the mental state) is very attractive because it creates and maintains hope that a man may directly control and regulate one’s emotional life. The whole current civilisation focuses on developing the conviction that people can control their personal life satisfaction. Every moment of pleasure experienced after drinking alcohol reinforces the need to repeat this experience. An alcoholic causes all kinds of problems i.e. living, financial, and emotional. As a result his/ her whole family has to cope with a broadly understood alcohol/drinking problem. According to Woronowicz, between 4 and 5 millions of Polish citizens abuse alcohol, and 15 millions of Poles have to manage the consequences of drinking habit directly or indirectly. There are between 1.5 and 2 millions of children in this group of people and 500 000 of these children experience dramatic situations threatening their health and lives, responsible for significant damage in various functioning domains and their development. The objective of this study was to draw attention to the difficult situation of children from alcoholic families in various functioning domains. This work is a review of literature concerning alcoholism and drinking problems in families with respect to children’s situation.Pozycja Family - Health - Disease(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2016) Bramušková, Jarmila; Balogová, Eva; Spodniaková, Miroslava; Gerlichová, Katarina; Matišáková, Iveta; Zichová, Miroslava; Goździalska, Anna; Shvediuk, Tetiana; Karasiewicz, Adrian; Kowalewska, Marta; Kadučáková, Helena; Jaśkiewicz, Jerzy; Jaśkiewicz, Jerzy; Dębska, Grażyna; Ławska, Wioletta; Kudlová, Pavla; Kutnohorská, Jana; Tomaszewska, Katarzyna; Lemańska, Dorota; Vanková, Beáta; Milaniak, Irena; Raková, Jana; Hudáková, Paulína; Valentová, Katarina; Šupínová, Mária; Gurín, Daniel; Bramušková, Jarmila; Miksaiová, Anna; Verešová, Jarmila; Krátká, Anna; Dębska, Grażyna; Jaśkiewicz, JerzyThis publication includes opinion and research papers written by authors with academic backgrounds from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. The individual chapters show different aspects of family participation in the treatment and care of children, the elderly, the chronically ill, and the disabled. A very important issue is the interdisciplinary problem of interaction between health and illness and their influence on the family, which is on one hand embedded in medical science, while on the other hand it refers to the social sciences, especially family sociology, psychology, pedagogy, and also social policy to some extent. The authors of the monograph also discuss the issue of life quality of the elderly living in domestic environments and the health and social problems they face. The authors also analyse the role of nurses in promoting health, such as immunisation, rational nutrition, and ethical aspects such as the screening of newborns. This monograph is addressed to all who work or want to work with families and support them in the difficult challenges posed by disease. The authors hope the monograph will increase understanding and familiarity with the health problems of relatives.Pozycja Family Health Disease(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2024) Gołkowski, Filip; Dębska, Grażyna; Tułacz, Kinga; Kronkowska, Julia; Rozensztrauch, Anna; Parol-Ostręga, Natalia; Jabłońska, Anna; Dąbek, Anna; Wójcik, Marta; Zborowska, Iwona; Bańdo, Marcelina; Bakalarz, Renata; Shapar, Anastasia; Skorupska-Król, Agnieszka; Zabawa, Julia; Klisowska, Iwona; Bombska, Aleksandra; Salik, Katarzyna; Felińczak, Anna; Seń, Mariola; Twardak, Iwona; Olejarz, Izabela; Lisowska, Aleksandra; Kraińska, Agnieszka; Twardak, Jerzy; Stołkowska, Alicja; Lech-Brytan, Marzena; Trybała, Katarzyna; Powązka, Marcelina; Karbowska, Marta; Grzeszczuk, Maciej; Gieysztor, EwaPreface: "The monograph Family – Health – Disease is a part of an interdisciplinary issue on the impact health and disease have on the family. The condition of the whole society depends on the condition of family and on the way it fulfi ls its fundamental functions. That is why family, being in the centre of the social life, is treated by the state as a subject of special care. The most important within this scope are of course the regulations of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, the Family and Guardianship Code and the Penal Code. Being a part of society, family, the same as society, is not indifferent to diverse external stimuli that exert an infl uence on it. In our times, what has an enormous impact on family is the mass media, which has become an intrinsic element of our life. The picture of family can be depicted best on the example of the audio-visual media, which is the most attractive in reception yet exerts the strongest impact on its audience. But the ideas conveyed by the audio-visual media distort the picture of family, lead to the reversal of social roles and parental conduct, propagate partnership, exaggerate social pathologies and promote a hedonistic and consumerist stance. Moreover, one can notice a kind of „worship” of wrongly understand tolerance, interpreted as toleration towards marital infi delity, abortion and the lack of responsibility for the upbringing of the young generation. The mass media propagates its vision of marital and family life as well as behaviour in family, which are based on the current cultural and social trends adjusted to the expectations of a spectator – the consumer of audio-visual programmes.Pozycja Państwo i Społeczeństwo nr 2, 2003(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2003) Biernat, Tadeusz; Lewandowska-Malec, Izabela; Zarzycki, Zdzisław; Reszczyński, Jarosław; Sobczak, Witold; Wałecka, Agnieszka; Zgórniak, Marian; Kargol, Anna; Hoffmann, Henryk; Babuśka, Iwona; Rosicka, Janina; Warszyńska, Jadwiga; Oliwkiewicz, Barbara; Swierczyńska, Jowita; Kubacka, Dominika; Staszków, Jan; Dziedzicki, Jan; Kapiszewski, AndrzejPozycja Państwo i Społeczeństwo nr 2, 2013(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2013) Mirski, Andrzej; Januszewska, Elżbieta; Szpak, Marta; Jania, Katarzyna; Mochel, Dorota; Ożóg, Kornelia; Pilip, Wiesława; Rybak, Przemysław; Szot, Wiesław; Zyznawska, Joanna; Oleszkowicz, Magdalena; Mirski, Andrzej; Majchrowski, Jacek M.Pozycja Państwo i Społeczeństwo nr 3, 2005 : Wybrane problemy rodziny u progu ponowoczesności(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2005) Szmyd, Jan; Kocik, Lucjan; Jaskulska, Katarzyna; Makiełło-Jarża, Grażyna; Panek, Anna; Drobny, Paweł; Szot, Wojciech M.; Grochowski, Jan; Szyszko-Bohusz, Andrzej; Huget, Patrycja; Kaczanowska, Aniela; Kuziel, Katarzyna; Szarota, Zofia; Balicka, Agnieszka; Stancheva-Popkostadinova, Vaska; Kliś, Maria; Bocheńska-Seweryn, Maria; Worek, Barbara; Loranc, Katarzyna; Młynarczyk, Michał; Wasilewska, Monika; Wójcik, Katarzyna; Józefik, Barbara; Kolarzyk, Emilia; Jaworska-Szyc, Jagoda; Łyszczarz, Justyna; Moszner, Katarzyna; Kaczmarska-Maderak, Anna; Pasiut, Błażej; Seweryn, Olga; Klimek, Krystyna; Pabiańczyk, Anna; Makiełło-Jarża, Grażyna; Kapiszewski, AndrzejPozycja Państwo i Społeczeństwo nr 3, 2007 : Rodzina wobec choroby i starości(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2007) Szmyd, Jan; Orbik, Zbigniew; Makiełło-Jarża, Grażyna; Józefik-Chojnacka, Olga; Józefik, Barbara; Bocheńska-Seweryn, Maria; Kluzowa, Krystyna; Aleksander, Tadeusz; Gizella, Jerzy; Kuźma, Józef; Kuleta, Małgorzata; Wasilewska, Monika; Kusio, Urszula; Szmigielska, Barbara; Huget, Patrycja; Szarota, Zofia; Litawa, Aleksandra; Kycia, Alicja; Bielec, Dorota; Kupczyk, Agata; Pająk, Iwona; Panek, Anna; Makiełło-Jarża, Grażyna; Majchrowski, JacekPozycja Państwo i Społeczeństwo nr 3, 2011 : Wielowymiarowy obraz rodziny(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2011) Maj, Beata; Kliś, Maria; Śledzianowski, Jan; Smolik, Katarzyna; Kawula, Anna; Stawarz-Popek, Kinga; Parlicki, Mariusz; Lis, Wojciech; Gizella, Jerzy; Kluzowa, Krystyna; Leśniak, Małgorzata; Majchrowski, JacekPozycja Państwo i Społeczeństwo nr 3, 2013 : Konteksty rodziny(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2013) Majorek, Marta; Cygan, Anna; Śledzianowski, Jan; Kasten, Anna; Szatkowski, Bernard; Bolińska, Marta; Kościółek, Jakub; Pekaniec, Anna; Załucka, Małgorzata; Bibik, Barbara; Kaczmarska, Małgorzata; Kliś, Maria; Lizak, Zygmunt; Gałkowska, Agnieszka; Leśniak, Małgorzata; Majchrowski, Jacek M.Pozycja Państwo i Społeczeństwo nr 4, 2012 : Szanse i wyzwania społeczne w okresie wychodzenia z kryzysu(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2012) Juruś, Dariusz; Lelek-Kratiuk, Marzena; Pawłowski, Leszek; Mirski, Andrzej; Zaremba, Weronika; Szwaja, Jacek Z.; Parlicki, Mariusz; Mirski, Andrzej; Majchrowski, JacekProblematyka zamieszczonych w niniejszym numerze tekstów obejmuje trzy grupy zagadnień: 1) dobrostan i jakość życia, 2) zarządzanie w obszarze kreatywnym, 3) uwarunkowania społeczne, kulturowe i prawne współczesnej rodziny oraz zagrożenia jej funkcjonowania.Pozycja Pedagogiczne i społeczne wsparcie uzdolnionych dzieci i młodzieży. 2(Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM, 2013) Житнік, Тетяна; Лемко, Галина; Караваєва, Віра; Борисенко, Дар’я; Бочарова, Олена; Бердник, Ганна; Тепла, Марія; Татьянчиков, Андрій; Половина, Галина; Голоденко, Сергій; Pufal-Struzik, Irena; Кокоріна, Людмила; Бутенко, Ганна; Алфімов, Дмитро; Grzesiak, Krystyna; Bercal, Ewelina; Olearczyk, Teresa; Misiuk, Agnieszka; Giza, Teresa; Pasich, Lidia; Давидчук, Вікторія; Кулик, Іванна; Lipińska, Marzena; Skulicz, Danuta; Жизномірська, Оксана; Татьянчикова, Ірина; Кислицька, Тетяна; Протас, Оксана; Літовка, Олена; Грибан, Ірина; Бобак, Оксана; Алфімов, Валентин; Szewczyk, Agnieszka; Kožuh, Anna; Gątarska, Elżbieta; Gątarska, Elżbieta; Aksman, Joanna; Санжарова, Галина; Тимофій, Уляна; Aksman, Joanna; Boczarowa, OłenaPublikacja, którą Państwu przedstawiamy stanowi kolejne, drugie z kolei kompendium wiedzy oparte na badaniach i doświadczeniach naukowych polskich i ukraińskich naukowców. Education is the strongest preventive factor against human and social failure. In the practical life it means that it is necessary to change the relationship between education and upbrińging towards encouragement of upbringing. „Because of social shocks and social changes, which Slovak society comes through at present, Slovak family reflects relatively stabile social form, moreover it influences all over social tradition and education of its members towards the values“."(...)
