The aim of this thesis is making people aware how serious Acute Coronary Syndrome is. Risk factors were emphasized because they cause damage to human’s organism and they are a reason of circulation system diseases. At the thesis was noticed that cardiac infraction, commonly known as heart attack, afflict more and more people under 45. Bad habits and genetic predisposition are main causes of cardiac infraction. The main source for the thesis are Central Statistics Office researches to support theory of morbidity under 45. Second chapter focuses on details about cardiac infraction within the scope of areas of heart walls. On the other hand third chapter was oriented on treatment which is really developed these days. Modern medicine guarantee fast and successful treatment of a patient as well as appropriate diagnosis and further prophylaxis to avoid next heart muscle ischemia. The role of paramedics in the thesis is emphasized because they as first have direct contact with patient and do interview and physical examination to post a diagnosis and save human’s life on the basis of symptoms and expertise.
