    Wybrane zagadnienia współczesnego modelowania strukturalnego, Część I: Estymowane modele równowagi ogólnej w zarysie

    The paper presents mail building blocks of the estimated general equilibrium models. Models belonging to that class combine in one specification the optimization behavior of consumers and producers with mechanisms that allow to model the nominal and real rigidities observed at the macroeconomic level. Moreover, they allow flexibly to test alternative economic hypotheses. This article contains the first p art of the methodology that discusses theoretical assumptions, the second one is devoted to estimation and verification methods and will appear as the continuation article. The goal is to present wide context of they usefulness and highlight methodological challenges.
