| dc.description.abstract | Zmiany klimatyczne stanowią poważne zagrożenie dla całej ludzkości, jednak najdotkliwiej odczują je wyspiarskie państwa Pacyfiku. W dobie podnoszenia się poziomu mórz i oceanów prawo międzynarodowe stoi przed nowym wyzwaniem – fizycznym zniknięciem terytorium państw na skutek działania sił przyrody, spowodowanych działalnością człowieka. Rodzi to wiele trudności, m.in. problem państwowości wyspiarskich narodów. W prawie międzynarodowym przeważa stanowisko, że państwo bez podstawy terytorialnej nie istnieje. Przyjmuje się, że istnieje absolutny związek pomiędzy terytorium a suwerennością. Prawo międzynarodowe ewoluowało przy założeniu, że środowisko naturalne jest stałe, a takie nie jest. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie sytuacji wyspiarskich państw Pacyfiku oraz podanie możliwych rozwiązań w/w problemu w przestrzeni prawnomiędzynarodowej. Zakończenie pracy stanowi podsumowanie, gdzie ujęte zostały najtrafniejsze możliwości na kontynuacje istnienia państwowości wyspiarskich państw. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | Climate change is a serious threat to humanity as a whole, but the Pacific island states will be suffering the most. In the era of rising sea and ocean levels, international law faces a new challenge: the physical disappearance of the territory of countries as a result of natural forces caused by human activity. This gives rise to many difficulties, such as the problem of the statehood of island nations. In international law prevails the position that a state without a territorial basis does not exist. It is assumed that there must be an absolute link between territory and sovereignty. International law has evolved under the assumption that the environment is constant, but it is not. The aim is to present the situation of the Pacific island states and to give possible solutions to this problem in the international legal space. The end is a summary where the most appropriate possibilities for the continuation of the statehood existence of the island states have been presented. | pl |
