dc.description.abstractDrastyczne zmiany temperatury głębokiej ciała pacjenta stanowią bardzo poważny problem i wyzwanie dla personelu medycznego. Obniżenie temperatury poniżej 35ºC doprowadza do wyziębienia a nawet hipotermii i jest stanem bezpośrednio zagrażającym życiu. Dochodzi do powstania nieodwracalnych zaburzeń czynnościowych, a nawet amputacji dystalnych części ciała. Ekspozycja na zbyt wysokie temperatury i uszkodzenie ośrodka termoregulacji powoduje zaburzenia świadomości, uszkodzenie tkanek i niekorzystne zmiany w mózgu, prowadzące do zgonu. Działający miejscowo uraz termiczny skutkuje powstaniem oparzeń które podobnie jak w przypadku odmrożenia mogą pozostawić trwały ślad na ciele. Najlepszym sposobem leczenia zarówno hipotermii jak i hipertermii jest jej zapobieganie.pl

Lowering the temperature below 35ºC leads to chilling and even hypothermia. Lead to irreversible functional disorders, and even amputation of distal body parts. Exposure to overly high temperatures and damage to the thermoregulation center causes disturbances of consciousness, its further increase affects progressive tissue damage and adverse brain changes, leading to death.
