dc.description.abstract | The activity in the public sphere consisting of actions initiated by citizens, taken in order to influence the decisions made by the representatives of public authorities or their followers (future voters). It should be recognized that the primary purpose of public participation in a democratic country is the ability to control the policy and its main actors. Civil engagement in social and political life is a kind of barrier for the degeneration of modern systems of governance that do not seek social approval or understanding. Public participation can manifest itself in many ways. The article considered a phenomenon that is mainly aimed at opposing the policies pursued by the authorities, the expression of dissatisfaction, named civil disobedience. In particular it’s contemporary, difficult to specify form that is hacktivism and socio-political activity taking place in cybersphere. Citizens today, despite many pessimistic forecasts, belief that together they can do something/make changes. The civil disobedience, in that case, we can consider as a way of liberation and an effort to return to forms of grassroots, direct democracy. | pl_PL |
