| dc.description.abstract | Współczesna architektura obfituje w zaskakujące formy wypełniające otaczającą przestrzeń. Przestrzeń ta, wpływając skutecznie m.in. na wrażliwość estetyczną i charakter człowieka, kształtuje indywidualną i zbiorową świadomość. Jeśli przyjmiemy za filozofami greckimi, że kosmos swoim uporządkowaniem zapewnia piękny widok, odzwierciedlając zarazem boski porządek – Logos, możemy założenie to odnieść także do sztuki, w tym do architektury. Piękno nie jest jednak wyłącznie kategorią estetyczną. Zdaniem Stanisława Niemczyka piękno jest także pojęciem metafizycznym, a trudność w ocenianiu piękna stanowi o jego randze we wszechświecie. Nieskończoność i wielość form architektury współczesnej coraz bardziej jednak oddalają ją od porządku naturalnego. Autor poddaje analizie charakterystyczne cechy twórczości wybranych architektów i stawia pytanie: czy architektura współczesna potrafi się odnaleźć w realiach współczesnego świata. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | Contemporary architecture is replete with a multitude often surprising forms that fill the space that surrounds us. This space shapes individual and collective conscious that effectively affects our aesthetic sensitivity and our character overall, among other things. If we accept, following Greek philosophers, that the universe, with its order, is a beautiiful sight that also refl ects Divine Order – the Logos – then we can also refer this statement to art – including architecture. However, beauty is not a solely aesthetic category. Stanisław Niemczyk argued that also deal with metaphysics here, and the difficulty in assessing beauty determines its rank within the Universe. However, the endlessness and multitude of forms of contemporary architecture is becoming increasingly distant from the natural order. Author analyzes the characteristic features of the works of selected architects and asks the question whether contemporary architecture can adapt to the realities of the modern world. | pl |
