dc.description.abstractW niniejszym rozdziale przeprowadzono analizę wybranych współczynników dotyczących infrastruktury mieszkaniowej w regionie miejskim Krakowa. Teren badań analizowano w dwóch płaszczyznach, w podziale na pierścienie gmin okalających Kraków oraz na wybrane profile gmin na kierunku Kraków - granice terenu badań. Na analizowanym obszarze zaznaczył się znaczny przyrost liczby mieszkań, oraz ich powierzchni przypadającej na jednego mieszkańca. Wykazano, że w mieście centralnym przypada najmniej osób na jedno mieszkanie, natomiast w gminach peryferyjnych wzrasta wraz ze zbliżaniem się do granic regionu. W Krakowie zanotowano także stosunkowo najmniejszy przyrost przestrzeni mieszkalnej przeliczonej na mieszkańca. Najlepiej rozwiniętą strefą pod tym względem okazały się gminy bezpośrednio graniczące z miastem. Analiza wykazała również słabe zainteresowanie budową nowych mieszkań w północno-wschodniej części regionu, natomiast tereny północno-zachodnie i południowe legitymowały się dynamicznym wzrostem inwestycji.pl_PL
dc.description.abstractCities in Western Europe began to decentralize following World War II via a spreading of urban areas outside of established urban administrative boundaries. This tendency exists still today and is known as suburbanization. Areas experiencing suburbanization are known as urban regions. The city of Krakow is the most developed city in Malopolska Province and its impact is felt beyond its administrative boundaries. Suburban areas around Krakow are seeing an influx of permanent residents from the central city. The paper analyzes selected housing data for the Krakow urban region. The study area was analyzed in two different ways. Rings of counties around Krakow were analyzed as groups. Profiles of selected counties were compared to the city of Krakow. The study area has experienced an increase in the number of housing units. The number of square meters of housing per resident has also increased. Research has shown that the number of residents per apartment is smaller in the central city. The number of residents per apartment increases with decreasing distance to the central city. The quantity of housing space per resident of Krakow has increased less than elsewhere in the urban region. Townships neighboring Krakow have increased their quantity of housing space per resident more quickly than Krakow has. There has been little growth in housing space in the northeast part of the Krakow urban region. The largest growth in housing space has been recorded northwest and south of the city.pl_PL
