W rezultacie systematycznego spadku wskaźnika płodności i przyrostu naturalnego przy równocześnie rekordowo wysokich wartościach dalszego trwania życia, będących generalnie efektem zmiany modelu rodziny oraz podniesienia poziomu i jakości życia, nastąpiły jednocześnie głębokie, niekorzystne zmiany struktury wiekowej ludności, czemu towarzyszy osłabienie i zahamowanie procesu wzrostu demograficznego kraju."(...)pl

In 2007, the country entered the phase of demographic transformations referred to as the hyper-aged society. As a consequence of the sustained decline of the fertility rate and the rate of natural increase, alongside the record-high rise of life expectancy, generally resulting from a change in the model of family as well as an improvement of the Standards and quality of life, there have simultaneously occurred profound, negative transformations of the age structure of the population, which is accompanied by weakening and inhibiting the process of demographic growth of the country."(...)pl
